Give Great Feedback

‘Don’t do it like that, do it like this’ is not exactly a motivational way to change behaviour. By focusing on what’s not working, you run the risk of forgetting to reinforce what is, creating defensive reactions rather than growth mindsets. Time to turn feedback on its head.

You will:

  • Know why ‘Feedback’ as we know it doesn’t work, and what to do instead
  • Use the FIA framework to be clear about the feedback specifics, the impact of what happened and what could be different next time
  • Be aware of how and why your feedback might trigger individuals and be able to handle tricky reactions
  • Have prepared and practised a real feedback conversation you need to have
