You don’t need a Prince 2 qualification to consider yourself a project manager. Any work requiring detailed scoping, resource planning and staged delivery through people can be thought of as a project and there is an abundance of tools to help you manage them effectively.

You will:

Be clear on the outline of a project you have to deliver in the next 12 months, and have tested the feasibility of this
Plan the activities, resources, risk and communication requirements that are associated with your project
Be clear about how you can build and monitor the progress of the project and the people delivering it
Have clear success metrics and a method against which you can measure these on completion of your project
