More than individual contribution

A management team can be full of capable individuals and still not perform effectively as a team.

Working well together requires something different – shared priorities, trust, constructive challenge and a willingness to take collective responsibility rather than lead your own part of the organisation.

Work on the real team

The most useful team development starts with what’s really happening in the team – the relationships, conversations, tensions and ways of working that affect how it performs.

I create the space for teams to explore these together, have conversations they might otherwise avoid and agree how they want to work differently.

Make space for the team

Sometimes teams need to step away from the day-to-day to focus on how they’re working together.

That might be a focused session, an off-site or development over a longer period, depending on what the team needs.

I design and facilitate the work around the real issues facing the team – creating the conditions for honest conversation, constructive challenge and practical decisions about how they’ll work together.

What could be better?
