Manage Conflict

Conflict is perceived by many as unpleasant and uncomfortable. But without it, opinions don’t get properly aired, ideas aren’t debated and decision making is poor. This session will help you reframe conflict and create conditions where it can build trust and enable robust decision making

You will:

Know what conflict is, the benefits of having it and how you create an environment that enables constructive disagreement
View how you tend to behave in conflict situations through the lens of different conflict modes
Recognise the potential positive impacts of a variety of conflict behaviours and know how to display these yourself and encourage them in your team
Be able to facilitate discussion between opposing parties, enabling them to reach an understanding and move towards compromise
