Deliver Through Delegation

Delegation can be hard when it seems quicker to do it yourself or you fear you are losing control. But falling into this trap can mean you end up chasing your tail while your team becomes demotivated. Delegate well and you’re on your way to high performance.

  • Be more aware of the reasons you give yourself for not delegating and know how to challenge these
  • Know the reasons why you might delegate to the different people you manage, how it serves the business and how it might motivate them
  • Be able to recognise the pros and cons of giving varied levels of freedom when delegating
  • Plan a 90-day delegation strategy and practise how to lead the conversations within this
