Going beyond the usual ideas of development within organisations, this session aims to help more experienced managers truly step into their roles of performance coaches, teaching them how to build environments within which the practise and acquisition of skills can be accelerated.

You will:

Be able to use different forms of instruction to build capability
Consider your role in creating a practise environment within which your team members can test and build new skills
Be more aware of the positive impact of observational learning and consider how to maximise employee skill acquisition using this approach
Understand the importance of giving feedback to help people close the gap between what they think can see, and what they actually can see
